May 23, 2013 @ 12:29am personal sarah's late night culinary adventures tonight i made beets because they were in the fridge and i don't know for how long and i wanted to cook them before they went bad and then i cooked the beet greens and i think i did a better job on those than the actual beets themselves time to go buy some dill and sour cream

if this whole “sarah cooks at midnight” thing continues

this finance class is making a good case for allowing students to use their phones on exams

there are like 20 different types of financial calculators and he’s trying to teach everyone to use them. that was almost 30 minutes ago.

i downloaded a financial calculator app and got the answer in 2 min and it was free

I s2g they’re not burned. That’s just the spices and my shitty-ass phone camera (this phone jfc). The insides are nice and not botchalism pink anymore and they’re still pretty squishy.

I may also be the dumbest person on the planet by not realizing that if you cut the medalions in half, they’ll cook faster.

This is also the second time my smoke alarm has gone off. I’m sure our neighbors are gonna love that.

all this cookin is makin me want to actually host a blini/russian get-together like i said i was going to do when i got back from russia in december

i kinda want to do it this saturday, but i’m probably going to end up working that day. hmmm well i talk to boss man on thursday about the job, so once i get my schedule, we’ll see what we can do.

but getting folks together to speak russian and eat blini on memorial day weekend just sounds so right
